First Salt

August 30, 2022 – H.E.A.T has achieved a significant milestone today in our journey towards enhancing our customers' experience in dealing with contaminated surface water storage & disposal challenges. H.E.A.T has installed and commenced commissioning operations at our first customer's site in northwest Pennsylvania with our state of the art cutting edge technology, the Triton 75. The Triton processes up to 7,500 BPD of produced water, handling supersaturated 300,000+ ppm water salinity concentration. Direct contact thermal distillation techniques allow customers to reach their most demanding zero liquid discharge (ZLD) targets. With this milestone we have disposed of our customer’s produced water rendering valuable reclaimed minerals, which is a momentous occasion that is 6 years in the making, from concept to product.

The Triton technology is a key strategic direction for our current and future oil & gas customers in the Marcellus & Utica basins that target and can now achieve their ZLD water treatment goals. The technology enables our customers to manage their surface water disposal challenges by de-coupling their exponentially increasing requirement to drill and frac additional wells, excessive to their desired optimum well count to desired production targets. This technology, by eliminating dependence of surface storage, costly trucking and unsustainable salt water disposal (SWD) wells, relieves our customers of significant OPEX, yielding incremental margins & returns. Our customers can now meet and exceed their new operating objectives including enhanced resource management and improved bottom line, while at the same time demonstrating corporate responsibility and environmental stewardship.
